A bit about the breed
Siberian huskies are very high energy dogs and require plenty of exercise daily as well as a high protein diet. They are fluff machines so regular grooming is a must. They have about 2 major blow-outs per year with the changing seasons. This means that they will shed several dogs worth of fur, so be prepared for TONS of hair! Huskies are northern breed dogs, build for 40 below degree weather and tend to want to stay outside during the winter and inside during the summer heat. Huskies also tend to be runners and love to explore so they will most likely need to be on a leash or in a secure area at all times. Siberian huskies are pack dogs and develop a very strong and lasting bond with their families whom become their pack, this is one of the many reasons why it is so important to us to find forever families for all our pups. These dogs are very intelligent animals and learn very quickly. That said, they are also very stubborn and will pick and choose when they feel like listening. With time, patience and the right training, adding a husky to your family could be the very best decision you’ve ever made. They have very strong, loving, charismatic personalities and add a truly wonderful and unique quality of life to your home. These are just a few of the many traits of this amazing breed.
